Some of our team just got a RPi2 in our (very delayed) christmas gifts. So we'll be trying to improve the situation. But if someone knows why precompiling fails only on Rpi's please comment in the issues.

We're using https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/issues/8809 to discuss this issue. It seems solvable by using Node instead of the RubyRacer.
