I can't understand that attitude. The whole point of moving to another is to embrace the new country and learn from the experience.

There is a lot more to the US than learning English. This is not just a change of address.

I can say for myself, if I ever move to the US, I'd probably be end up as involved in politics as a non-citizen can be.
