It's sadly buried in the article. They mention the median is ~$200k.

The fact that that they were taking about 20M households in a country with a population of 300M+ was already bad enough.

Drop the top 1-10 people and recalculate. Might surprise.

Not really surprising considering most homes cost a milllion bucks. Unfortunately for them very few people can afford a million dollar home, so the number is mostly delusion
