What is your reasoning? I personally think it's silly that we still carry around all our files on a disk drive in our hands. If we lose that, we lose everything. If I don't have my laptop with me, I can't do my work.

You can back up your files and applications to the cloud without relegating all of your computation to sandboxed Javascript.
