I am a GPT luddite myself. My coworkers/friends keep using it as a base of thought. I ask them "how would you do it yourself", don't ask this program to make your program. I'm not arguing it's a fast way to learn but still... it's like will they be able to imagine on their own how to make something new.


The only way I have ever really learned how to do something is to scratch and claw my way through it, making a million mistakes, and eventually having it crystalize into clarity. That has never really happened by just having something done for me.
