macOS persistence – Beyond the good ol' LaunchAgents (theevilbit.github.io)

Just for kicks, this series should end with a guide to LaunchAgents :)

(Also does anyone have a good guide to LaunchAgents? I have an old Mac lying around that I’d like to never have to physically log in to, generally want it to run some things as a non admin user after startup.)

This was outdated last time I checked. It doesn’t cover launchctl‘s v2 CLI interface with bootstrap/bootout subcommands

Check out this https://babodee.wordpress.com/2016/04/09/launchctl-2-0-synta...

Thanks! This looks great.

Not a document or a web site, but an up-to-date management GUI that supports all the launchctl options:

LaunchControl is great! I bought a license for it and use it constantly. Another good app that presents the agents in a different (and sometimes more useful, depending on the situation) tree view is Lingon X[0]
