  - I'm currently at a BigCo, working on a product that has 100+ million users, and have experience with the following:
    - solving problems of scalability, availability, and latency
    - conducting interviews
    - leading mid-sized projects (by BigCo standards)
    - AWS stack (Lambda, RDS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, S3, SQS/SNS, Kinesis, CloudFormation)

I've been building cloud-native applications most of my career and have hands-on experience with several popular relational DBs as well as document stores. At least a dozen of AWS services. Prod experience with several programming languages (although Scala is my favorite).

Currently, I'm a Scala developer at a BigCo, doing something on critical path for 100+ million users (microservice architecture). Looking to join a company where I'd be able to apply my functional programming skills as well as experience scaling systems.

Alternatively, I'd love to join a company that's doing something with reinforcement learning. RL has been my hobby for a few years. I've completed an RL specialization on Coursera, worked through most of the RL book by Barto and Sutton, implemented a few learning algorithms myself, etc.
