Politicians looks to each other. There’s nothing new in that.

It’s just defence in depth and wholly appropriate for it to be imperfect

That’s not really a loophole though. We have child actors in Harry Potter.

Perhaps we should stop that too.

I’d wager most people want more censorship of the internet.

The real thing is that it is on tap. If I have to engage an Indian outsourcer to hand off easy stuff to it’s going to be much more painful.

The uk has both, so it depends.

There is going to be more of this though.

In London you really have to force your way out at junctions. This is not legal, but without it a waymon might never make progress.

I don’t see this being solved.

It relies on human eye contact to work.

Periodic reminder to the Americans..

Self driving cars are only safer than regular cars in the US because your standards of driving are so bad.

It’s very unlikely to be the case in the UK.

You really don’t believe that software is or can become safer than human drivers?

I’m dying that the bar of being safer may be met in the US, because it is a low bar.

These kind of comments do not belong here

They absolutely do. Tech and business are sensitive to culture.

Some business just don’t translate.

Where is my factual error?

US driving is objectively appalling.

It’s not an interesting glitch. It’s just common sense. Nobody in their right mind would have their only backup in the same system as the prod data.

The real issue is no actual backups.

We had a token portion for the grade from coursework. Eg 10%. Its enough to force you to do it, but not enough to influence the grade too much.
