Its because when something is illogical, these "brains" retort to using some kind of a streched out metaphor which dumbs it down and makes it make sense, to them at least. So they invent the stupidities like treating a team as a Navy-SEAL unit or a sports team or... coming up with something like "player-coach"...

+1 and the irony of this CEO-Idiot calling LLMs "intelligence" and putting people, the stupidest of which are 1000x orders of magnitude more intelligent than an LLM, in the second spot "aligning it", i.e. fixing the AI slop.

> including “one person teams” with engineers, designers, and product managers all in one role.

The reads like typical MBA-efficiency-idiocy taken to the extreme. Clearly this guy is so deeply isolated from the actual work that he cannot even begin to comprehend just how utterly stupid this idea is. It's one thing to push for 100x engineering "output" with "AI", but something completely different to expect a single person to be 3-4 persons in one. Pure schizophrenia - but at least companies like Coinbase which adopt the AI-first illusion will burn themselves faster and leave the room for something new and genuinely innovative.

If the genius who came up with this idea is reading this: Nobody asked for this feature.

Tangent (not much): This includes you, microsoft.

> Wait, let me pay my HVAC guy $500 he deserved because he came all the way from his home to replace a fuse

Right, because its totally something an LLM can do, right?

> If a linter could deterministically identify bad architecture, you wouldn't need an LLM,

a) that's not what a linter is built for, its a tool with very specific role

b) You must've never seen LLM expose secrets in plain text or use the most convoluted scenarios you can think of.

I think you missed the point of the person you are replying to.

"We" should not do anything. The LLM industry should go and find solutions for the problems they created, themselves. Not offload it to others through sneaky influencer posts. And we should hold them responsible, should they not be able to address the problems they are creating.

Spot on. When will the cretins understand, it's not about how much code you can generate.

Why does it feel like it was AI-written ?

What skills mate, this is simply text files attempting to narrow down the specs, hoping that this will help the "AI" make less mistakes. But it is still crap, because, <drum-rolls> - it still depends on how this fits into the overall statistical model which changes with every prompt, etc... Please stop peddling this bullshit, it does not work!
