i can get an app one shotted pretty much every time i use cline too. why would i ever use a proprietary solution that’s opinionated and likely eventually costs (idk i didn't look)?

add this to the bubble theory

this website is incredibly unfriendly to scroll on firefox mobile. i could read it. it jumps every time i scroll down

Yeah there is something funny going on with the scrolling.

Desktop too.

seems jusssttt a touch low. like by half

Not a lot of proof in this post. A lot of admiration, but not a lot of clear examples.

580 watts is more than my entire server rack. By a good amount too. I run a UPS, firewall appliance, two switches, two APs (over POe), and a NAS with a 36 HHD disk shelf. All of that clocks in at 380 watts steady. Just some food for thought.

Yup this is a very inefficient way of reaching a target illuminance.

Multiple sources spread over an area would be more efficient, as each LED could run at lower current and temperature, which increases their efficacy.

The light would also not have to bounce off ceilings/walls multiple times, while some are nice for diffusion, every reflection is lossy.

I suspect you’d also get better reliability.

This made me LOL so many times.

parallelism, that'll cost ya

Anyone not fascist is already labelled a domestic terrorist.

I got both of my 4k dell 27" monitors for like $450 each and it's amazing. I would never pay this much. I'd just buy a 48" OLED. But that was too big. This is just silly and overpriced.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't and won't update to Tahoe, and am now using linux more frequently as I begin to move away from Mac OS, and eventually Apple products.
