As a songwriter, drum hitter, and acoustic strummer, I am not good at drums (can play on beat, though), guitar (can strum all the cowboy chords, though), or singing (no caveat on this one).
So sometimes when I want to hear what my song COULD be if I were good at every one of those, I will use Suno. But I do not let it change my lyrics, or chose it's own arrangement. I will give it a VERY ROUGH demo (out of key singing, basic drums and strums, and it will "polish" my turds into really shiny turds.
No, it's using FL Studio's random sequence generator with a general MIDI instrument, exporting it, then saying it's a ballad you just composed. Or paying a ghostwriter to write on a topic, then saying it's a novel you just wrote.

The problem being that the users of LLMs aren't even putting forth the effort to do the stealing themselves, which would at least have implied some level of discernment and artistic effort in selecting what to steal.
Like bad managers stealing credit for their subordinates' hard work, bad LLM advocates wish to normalize taking credit for the work the LLM does on their behalf.
That's like saying you aren't building a house if you use a hammer to drive nails instead of your hand. AI is just a tool like any other, and you use it to build things like you would any other tool.
A far more accurate analogy would be people saying someone didn't write a book if they hired a ghostwriter, which is generally acknowledged to be true. LLMs are much closer to being a ghostwriter than they are to an inert, non-powered hand tool.

A coding agent is more like a carpenter, a mason, an electrician,... rather than a hammer in that case.
I wouldn't even compare it to a tool. People frequently "build their own house" where they sub out 75% of the skilled labor and act as a General Contractor/glorified gopher.
And you won't get purity tests from the layperson: in the end, you're responsible for the build quality so if you tirelessly labor/oversee those teams you're considered capable; if it ends sub-par, then you're a stooge.
"A game" is a different abstraction layer from "a piece of software", though. A game has designed mechanics, a scenario (level design, etc.), art/music assets, writing, and so on. I would say that if you're making all of those things yourself, but you're having an AI write the software that executes the game, then you're still "building a game" per se. "Developing a game" even.
Compare/contrast: people who develop games on top of high-level genre-specific game engines like RPG Maker are still considered to be "building a game." What's the difference between using a pre-made purpose-fit engine like RPG Maker, vs. asking an AI (or, for that matter, a contracted software company) to build you a custom purpose-fit engine?
I know now we all are somehow like 'product manager' when using agent/chatbot, and we just need to setup requirements and point out issues. But in game area, I am not so sure models/agent are capable enough, especially involves heavy graphic related development and human interaction things? Since from my personal experience, even codex and claude code not so stable and efficient when dealing visualisation things like figures, videos and even much easier one - web-browser.
Different groups, the spammers like to congratulate each other for how much hard work they must have put into their very impressive prompt engineering. Regardless, AI code is distinct from extremely blatant AI design. People dismiss things that had no actual design, just whatever fell out of the prompt they gave it. If you can't write a single human paragraph or put thought and care into how you are presenting 'your' project, it's not worth paying attention to. Why can't they present their own work honestly? Why would I spend energy looking at an OS made by someone who can't write an HTML file by themself?
Do you take photos or use Bluetooth? What's the experience like for multimedia SMS (assuming no RCS), Whatsapp, banking or other apps normal people expect you to use, or file transfer? Are there any devices that can do NFC?
Taking photos is one of the things I got accustomed to not having. The picture quality on my Librem 5 is just too disappointing [0].
In the past I used Bluetooth for keyboard and mouse when I connected the phone to a monitor. (I no longer do because the USB port on my L5 has broken down so badly that it can no longer maintain a DisplayPort Alt mode connection.)
I’ve never used Bluetooth for music or similar, it keeps stuttering horribly on my L5. No idea why it does that!
I’ve never used multimedia SMS either. Almost no one uses SMS or MMS in Germany. Signal barely works via the Electron app (and signal-cli), so that’s what I use for messaging. WhatsApp doesn’t work because I have no iOS or Android to tether it to.
I can’t use public transport apps, which is a shame because I live in a city center where I depend on public transport. I download my public transport ticket from a private API once a month via curl.
For file transfer, I mostly use rsync, Git, or Unison.
Banking only works thanks to a dedicated bank card reader. [1]

The quality of taken photos is fine (as long as you keep the lens clean :)), it's the quality of raw data to JPEG pipeline that's underwhelming. The default pipeline has been significantly improved recently, but it's still very basic, which really shows in low light. There's a huge room for software improvement there. You can always open the DNG file in something like Darktable or RawTherapee and develop it better, with proper denoising etc.
I'm so incredibly tired of the monospace glowy-text black-background cursor-trail breathless emdash prompt-repeating nonsense text Claude artifacts getting posted here. Not a single paragraph here reads as human-written English.
I agree. I’m not impressed by this at all, and then there are some weird AI generated comments by new account accounts on this thread, too, which I don’t understand.

When you have showdead on (as I’m guessing you do), there are weird AI-generated comments by new accounts on every front-page thread, so I wouldn’t ascribe too much significance to that part.
